Ed Whitman roasts over at Temple. We hung out today. I just realized this blog I follow is his. He’s a nice guy, and smart too.
This evenings brew: Finca Los Milagros, Nicaragua by De La Paz. Surprising tea-like quality. Very nice.
As much as I’ve LOATHED everything I’ve read from this guy, this is a decent article for the your everyday coffee consumer.

I don’t quite know what to make of this article. It may or may not be a must read. But for me, it kind of got the wheels turning, for a few reasons: 1) I try to stay open minded about most things coffee related, but I appreciate those who develop strong opinions, so I like this post. 2) I recently had a brief twitter conversation with Jon Kauffman of SFoodie about the flaws of the Clover. 3) My company may be getting a pressure profiling machine in the near future, and to be quite frank, despite enthusiasm from several coworkers, I am pretty sure I’m not ready for it.
